The Team
CMHS community team provides service to young people under the age of 18 who are experiencing severe and complex mental illnesses.
The Role
As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Assistant - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS):
Provides day-to-day administrative support to CAMHS.
Contributes towards optimal administrative and business support processes at the local level.
You will need to
Provide face-to-face and telephone reception services for CAMHS clients.
Ensure sensitive and confidential handling of all enquiries, and that information is provided to the correct clinician in a timely manner.
Undertake general administrative and clerical duties as required by senior staff and other clinicians with the team.

Details of appointment
Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement ****.
