Responsibilities
* Hold a valid Veterinary Registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland or have the eligibility to register, ensuring you are ready to dive into action.
* While experience in emergency medicine is desirable, it is not essential. We value dedication and enthusiasm to deliver top-notch emergency and critical care with professionalism and compassion.
* Communicate effectively to build strong relationships with clients, fellow staff, and referring veterinarians, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
* Work harmoniously with AEC colleagues, share knowledge, and provide mutual support to ensure the highest level of care.
* Understand the bond between pets and their families and strive to exceed expectations by delivering exceptional service and positive experiences.
Qualifications
* Hold a valid Veterinary Registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland or eligibility to register.
* Experience in emergency medicine is desirable but not required; enthusiasm and professionalism are valued just as highly.
* Strong communication skills for client care, teamwork, and collaboration with referring veterinarians.
* Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to high-quality patient care.
* Commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate patient care.
