About the Role

Tamworth Dental Clinic is seeking a professional and friendly Administration Officer to join our supportive team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy 8-chair dental clinic.

You will provide high-quality administrative support and help deliver a positive experience for patients accessing oral health services.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist patients, staff, and visitors as the first point of contact
* Manage phone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally and efficiently
* Provide administrative support to clinical staff
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
* Assist patients with information and clinic processes
* Work collaboratively with the dental team to support excellent patient care

About You

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and compassionate team member who enjoys working with people and creating a positive experience for patients, carers, staff, and visitors. You take pride in delivering high-quality customer service and are confident working in a busy healthcare environment.You are organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. With strong attention to detail and solid computer skills, you are comfortable using electronic systems and administrative processes to support efficient clinic operations.

You will bring:

* The ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve outcomes in a busy environment
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with computer systems and administrative processes
* Effective listening and questioning skills in a customer service setting
* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Confidence using electronic systems and workplace software
* Flexibility and adaptability when priorities change, with a willingness to assist wherever needed

About the Clinic

Tamworth Dental Clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and provides essential oral health services to the local community.

Our multidisciplinary team includes:

* Dentists
* Dental Therapists
* Oral Health Therapists
* Prosthetists
* Dental Assistants
