This is a permanent full‑time position commencing Term 1, 2026.

Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) is located near the Pinjarra town centre and caters for students in Years 7 through 12, providing cutting-edge programs and pathways to prepare students for success in tertiary education, vocational training, traineeships, apprenticeships and the workplace. The Role

Pinjarra SHS is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in driving the school’s communications, supporting internal operations, and promoting our school’s values and achievements. You will provide operational support in the development, implementation and management of the school’s marketing plan, and coordinate promotional events and marketing activities. Technical knowledge and skills to develop and manage digital and print‐based marketing platforms are essential. The role also includes coordinating key aspects of human resource management, including leave and relief arrangements, maintenance of the HRMIS, and assisting with staff induction. You will provide human resource advice and information to staff and contribute to the smooth functioning of the school’s administrative operations.

The successful applicant should have high‑level interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work both collaboratively and independently, and use initiative to solve complex problems. Strong negotiation and networking skills both within the school and the wider community would be highly advantageous.

Eligibility

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated experience in assisting with coordination of events and marketing activities and associated financial management and budgeting requirements.
- Demonstrated well‑developed knowledge of and experience in contemporary human resource management practices.
- Demonstrated well‑developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels and work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and research skills, including the ability to identify appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and identify priorities.
