Support Workers & Mentors – Disability Support (Multiple Vacancies Available)

Do you feel like you could make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We are currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our support and community access programs for both children and adults.
The Roles Available:
Support Worker (Level 2)
* Provide direct care in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes (including 24/7 support)
* Assist with day programs, personal care, medication, and community participation
* Work in a multidisciplinary team to promote client independence and quality of life
Mentor / Allied Health Assistant
* Mentor individuals in their home, school, day programs, or community
* Implement therapy plans and provide progress updates to clinicians
* Transport clients using your own vehicle and support group programs
We are especially looking for those who can work long 8-hour shifts and passive overnight supports.
What We're Looking For
We welcome a diverse range of applicants, including students and experienced support professionals. Ideal candidates will have:
* Currently studying nursing, allied health, education or similar OR
* Certificate III/IV in Disability/Individual Support OR Allied Health Assistance
* Experience with dementia, challenging behaviours, or medically complex clients
* Passion for working with people with disability and mentoring others
Minimum Requirements (or willingness to obtain):
* South Australian Driver's Licence
* "Through their Eyes" Child Safe Environments training
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Completion of required NDIS modules:
* Worker Orientation
* New Worker Induction
* Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
* Supporting Effective Communication
