Overview
World Wire Cables (WW Cables) is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join our head office in Victoria. This role will directly partner with colleagues in Shanghai and assist the Logistics Department with parts of the supply chain (including supplier liaison, local freight management, international freight etc.), as well as communicating with our state-based operational and sales teams to confirm end-to-end updates on containers, local deliveries, shipments and products.
Responsibilities
- Process and cross-check freight invoices and local delivery invoices.
- Create and manage vendors in SAP system.
- Monitor deliveries and receipt of stock in a timely manner.
- Liaise with suppliers to expedite orders.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable to assist in resolving supply variances in invoice amount.
Skills and experience / Qualifications
- Fluent (verbal and written) skills in Chinese and English.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive “can-do attitude“, and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
