The Senior Human Resources Advisor will work closely with Council leaders to provide strategic advice and guidance on industrial and employment matters.
This role is responsible for providing advice, coaching, and early intervention on staff concerns, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert advice on workforce management and industrial relations
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve HR operations and the employee lifecycle
* Ensuring continuous improvement by regularly reviewing current practices and providing recommendations based on analysis and industry trends
* Project leading workplace change processes and working with management to ensure processes align with the Award
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 5 years of experience in a Human Resource role. They will also have proven ability in negotiating, mediating, and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
This is a permanent role that offers flexibility, with a minimum of 28 hours per week and the option to work full-time (35 hours). The hourly rate is competitive, ranging from $51.29 to $57.60 per hour, plus 12% superannuation.
