Location: LAUNCESTON
City Mission is looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO and GM Corporate Services of Launceston City Mission. You will coordinate meeting cycles for key governance bodies, e.g. our Board, prepare board packs and minutes, maintain relevant registers, help executives, support compliance, and assist with project governance for a significant capital program.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate meeting cycles for governance bodies (e.g., Board/Committee cycles), including calendars, agendas, papers, and minutes.
* Prepare board packs and minutes; maintain relevant governance registers and action tracking.
* Support executives, assist with compliance, and contribute to project governance for a significant capital program.
* Manage information with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy; support statutory filings and annual reporting cycles as required.
Selection Criteria
* Essential Qualifications/Experience:
o Demonstrated experience (3–5+ years) in high-level administration, executive support, company secretariat support, or governance, ideally in NFP/community services/health/housing sectors.
o Proven coordination of Board/Committee cycles (calendars, agendas, papers), accurate minute-taking and action tracking.
o Experience maintaining governance/compliance registers (conflicts, delegations, gifts & hospitality, related party, legislative obligations).
o Familiarity with ACNC governance standards, privacy, WHS and safeguarding requirements; ability to support statutory filings and annual reporting cycles.
o Strong records and information management using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
o Excellent written communication and presentation of board-ready papers; high attention to detail and confidentiality.
o Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines; strong stakeholder engagement skills.
o National Police Check is required for all roles at LCM.
o Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for all roles at LCM.
* Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
o Experience or demonstrated capacity to work in an organisation adopting a Christian ethos.
o Tertiary qualification in business, governance, law, public administration or related field, or relevant experience.
o Governance Institute of Australia accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
o Experience with Board management systems.
o Experience in community services and/or community housing.
o Project coordination/PMO exposure.

This is a part-time position, although some flexibility may be considered. As a Public Benevolent Institution, LCM employees are eligible to Salary Package through our approved provider.
