About the Job
An excellent opportunity exists for a qualified Mechanic to join our Workshop team.
This position repairs all mechanical plant and equipment operated by the Shire of Esperance.
Scheduled servicing is conducted on all plant in order to minimise 'down time'.
This position is full time - 85 hours over a nine day fortnight.
About you
Trade qualifications – Plant Mechanic with extensive experience.
Strong mechanical background including computer diagnostic tool usage.
Ability to work with limited supervision and to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and operational issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills as trade requires.
Computer literacy including knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management System.

Salary: $103,****** (including overtime) per annum
Permanent staff are entitled to :
5 weeks annual leave per year.
9 day fortnight.
Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution.
