The Opportunity
We're expanding our production team If you enjoy variety in your work, are skilled with tools, and thrive in a dynamic building or manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you. How does a 4 day work week sound? 40 hours. 4 days - Fridays off - 3 day long weekend, just about every weekend? Providing a great work/life balance.
Some overtime on Fridays are offered from time to time depending on production schedule.
Key Responsibilities
As one of our Light Fabrication Technicians, you will play an integral role in assisting our Fabircation Shop with tasks such as:
* Our inhouse Chassis Fabrication
* Production and Fabrication of Aluminum Toolboxes and accessories .
* Fabrication of slide out Kitchens.
* Various Aluminium and Mild steel bending, cutting and welding using MIG & TIG
* Operation of Guillotine, Hydraulic Press Brake machinery, Cold saws and other various fabrication equipment
* Supporting various other building and construction duties in the Facility as required.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Prior experience in building or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
* Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, cutting equipment, and machinery is essential.
* Attitude: A willingness to collaborate, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet high-quality standards that our business sets.
Qualifications
* Must present with a minimum Trade Qualification in Sheet metal or Light Fabrication equivalent
* Apprentice hire is not considered for this role at this time.
* C or CA drivers licence is required.
* Forklift licence desired but not essential.
