Property Services Assistant Role
The Property Services Assistant plays a vital role in the upkeep and maintenance of school premises and property. The position ensures facilities remain in excellent condition through routine and responsive maintenance, safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist with scheduled and responsive repairs to maintain optimal property condition.
* Set up and pack down events without compromising safety or quality.
* Oversee the upkeep and procurement of tools and supplies required for daily operations.
* Perform minor repairs on school property to prevent damage and ensure smooth functionality.
Safety & Compliance:
* Conduct regular safety checks and inspections on school property to identify potential hazards.
* Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with relevant WHS regulations and guidelines.
* Identify and report hazards, undertaking necessary repairs or escalating issues to management as required.
Requirements:
* A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active attendance at local Church is essential.
* Equivalent experience in maintenance/Property Services roles is highly valued.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work is necessary for success in this position.
* WHS training or awareness of safety regulations in a school environment is a must.
* A current Working with Children Check is required for employment in this field.
