P&C Officer

We ' re looking for a proactive and people ‐ focused P&C Officer to join our Wacol team. In this role, you ' ll provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, act as a trusted advisor to leaders, and help drive employee engagement and compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate HRIS records and process all employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, role changes and offboarding
* Generate key HR reports to support workforce insights and operational decision-making
* Coordinate and maintain employee recognition programs
* Respond to employee queries regarding policies, procedures, entitlements, rosters and payroll timelines
* Provide HR updates at operational meetings and support internal/external audits with accurate documentation
* Conduct daily welfare checks and ensure absenteeism data is correctly maintained
* Deliver HR induction sessions and support new employees through the onboarding experience
* Monitor probation, training milestones and complete offboarding activities including exit interviews
* Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and conduct confidential investigations
* Prepare investigation documentation and support leaders in implementing outcomes or improvement plans
* Coach supervisors in people management, team dynamics and early conflict resolution
About You
* 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics
* Strong understanding of Australian employment law and WHS requirements
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and conflict ‐ resolution skills
* Able to analyse HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements
* Highly organised, detail ‐ oriented and able to work effectively under pressure
