Role Overview
The organization is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the end-to-end financial health and sustainability of the organization. Your responsibilities will include hands-on, day-to-day financial management, financial modeling, budget management, financial reporting, reporting to government, and strategic financial planning. The role will work closely with the executive team to drive financial efficiency and accountability, and you will contribute directly to our mission of providing high-quality care to the aging and elderly to remain safe and independent in their homes.
About You
You are a Certified Accountant.
You are a hands-on manager with strong communication skills and the ability to influence change.
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role with experience managing a revenue portfolio exceeding $10 million.
You have experience in the aged care sector.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable plans.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
You have great attention to detail.
You can work well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
About The Role
Reports to the CEO.
Prepares, oversees, and ensures that all reporting is submitted accurately and on time.
Rebalances client accounts.
Manages the client statement process.
Prepares the financial statements on an accrual basis.
Processes and reconciles monthly credit card payments.
Prepares a monthly financial report for the Board of Directors.
Works with each department to ensure accurate financial reporting and monitoring are in place.
Works with the company to ensure the synchronization of all platforms to ensure data accuracy.
Reviews and develops finance processes.
Supports the company with financial inquiries and financial modeling.
Develops the annual budget and forecasting.
Manages the organization's Chart of Accounts.
Monitors the company's achievements against the set KPIs.
Prepares and submits the end-of-year financial statements.
Completes all balance reconciliations required for audit reviews.
Prepares annual financial statements for audit reviews and liaises with auditors.
Supports the development of business plans and projects.
Prepares feasibility studies for company projects and acquisitions, including evaluation of opportunity costs.
Manages financial risk identification and management.
