The opportunity
As a key member of the corporate development team, you work collaboratively support the Directors with the identification and evaluation of strategic investment decisions. You will have deep knowledge of the industry landscape and work closely with the Executive to provide keys insights to help drive the company's growth strategy. With an air of humility, you bring strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking, and sound business judgement, along with the ability to think about what is - and what could be.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and presentation of industry research and investment opportunities to senior management
* Financial analysis and modelling for corporate activities including acquisitions, divestitures, and financing
* Constructing financial statements and projects to support investment proposals
* Administrative duties relating to brownfield and greenfield projects
* Building and maintaining key working relationships with various external stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Bachelor's Degree; Commerce, Economics and/or Business
* Post graduate qualification CA, CPA or studying towards CFA or Master of Applied Finance
* Minimum of 2 years' experience: in a management consulting, corporate advisory firm, or similar corporate strategy / development role
* Excellent report writing skills and preparing documents/submissions to a high standard
* Commercially astute with experience building business cases and/or transaction experience (Valuations + Due Diligence)
