Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of screen media, they are an Australian owned company who have been in business for the 20+ years, having multiple facilities in both Australia and New Zealand. Their mission is to be the largest supplier in screening media in both the quarry and mining industries and they strive to be the number one business in operational performance. Their belief systems reflect upon their employee's well-being in helping them develop and grow within the business.
To this end, they are currently on the search for an experienced operator to join their team as a **Warehouse Coordinator**.
If successful, you will be a hands-on leader, driving activity through the warehouse and small production facility on site. You will be required to:
- Manage administration of stock control: monitor stock levels, book orders, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods (loading and transferring)
- Booking freight using online portals as required
- Inventory control and participation in regular stocktakes using stocktake systems.
- Purchasing of some goods will be required.
- General labouring duties in the warehouse, as required.
- Daily product picking in line with production schedule.
- Lead and abide by workplace health and safety guidelines to ensure the warehouse is always kept organised and safe.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:
- Current LF Forklift license _(or willing to get one as soon as possible)_
- Current driver's license
- Excellent time management skills
- Can do attitude.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Effective Written and Verbal communication skills
