Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Agri Finance Credit Manager to join Heartland Bank Australia Limited based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia.
You will be at the heart of credit decision-making and customer engagement. You will own the credit process from start to finish—partnering with relationship managers, structuring financial solutions, and making risk-aware recommendations. This is a hands-on role where your expertise directly shapes business and portfolio growth.
You’re a Pro With
- Experience in Operational risk and/or compliance within the banking or financial sectors preferably Agri Finance.
- Knowledge of key regulatory obligations in the financial sector.
- Experience in Line 1 or Line 2 risk roles, with competency in Risk and control assessments, control testing, and incident management.
- Designing and executing assurance and control testing programs while navigating regulatory frameworks and internal governance.
- Exceptional communication both written and verbal
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications/Certification
- Tertiary qualification in a business discipline (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Agri clients with tailored financial solutions
- Extensive experience in credit roles, especially in agricultural finance
