As the Assistant Director at Goodstart ANU, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In This Role, You Will
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart ANU
Our 112-place early learning centre located on the campus of the Australian National University (ANU) in Acton provides high-quality early learning and care for families of university staff, students and the local community. Conveniently positioned on North Road adjoining Willows Oval, our architecturally designed, single-level centre features naturally inspired, age-based learning spaces for children from six weeks to five years, with seamless indoor-outdoor access to two custom-designed play areas. We deliver a play-based curriculum and a Preschool Program led by tertiary-qualified Early Learning Teachers, offering flexibility and strong educational outcomes within long day care hours.
