Job Description
The Batch Yard Apartments (LCOR) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager with 1-3 years of experience in residential community management. The ideal candidate will have experience with rent collection, bookkeeping, processing move-ins/outs, managing aged receivables, Yardi software, and renewals.
Responsibilities include all community operations activities. In the absence of the Community Manager, the Assistant will oversee daily operations, including:
1. Managing monthly bookkeeping and accounting
2. Conducting move-in and move-out inspections
3. Processing security deposit refunds
4. Collecting delinquent rent
5. Inputting accounts receivable data
6. Managing resident ledgers
7. Depositing rent payments
8. Monthly closing, billing, and rent scheduling
9. Assisting with revenue management and pricing strategies
10. Supporting marketing efforts and online reputation management
11. Performing duties of the Bookkeeper and Leasing Staff as needed
Candidates should meet these requirements:
* 1-3 years of community management experience
* Leadership skills
* Proficiency in Yardi software and revenue management
* Some college preferred
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Availability to work weekends (with two days off during the week)
