About the Role
DTI is currently seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager with experience in wind and/or solar farm (or similar) construction projects to join our team. Based in Adelaide, this role supports upcoming renewable energy projects in the SA region. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of all commercial and contractual matters on the assigned project. A key aspect of this role involves developing and implementing commercial strategies in collaboration with the Project Director to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities
* Lead or assist in developing and reviewing commercial strategies and tender documents in accordance with DTI policies and procedures.
* Proactively manage dispute processes with clients and subcontractors.
* Advise the Project Director and/or Project Manager on commercial issues arising under the contract.
* Ensure the scope of work is clearly understood at tender stage, monitored throughout project phases, and establish regimes to recover changes.
* Manage performance of self and team members to meet objectives and milestones.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a relevant field.
* Proven experience in commercial management of similar projects.
* Ability to manage disputes proactively with clients and subcontractors.
* Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and statutes related to commercial issues.
* Understanding of construction law and related contracts, including turnkey agreements.
* Ability to pass all pre-employment checks, including medical, references, and police clearance.
