Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in executing and managing integrated marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, sales growth, supplier partnerships, and customer engagement across multiple touchpoints. You'll work across digital, print, in-store and event marketing, driving both national and local initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly & Promotional Campaigns
* Plan, coordinate, and execute weekly campaigns and promotional activity
Approve and oversee campaign content including:
* News feeds
* EDMs (targeted and general)
* Banners
* Social media posts
* Click-through landing page
* Develop and source campaign ideas and promotions
* Reconcile supplier contributions and report results internally and to suppliers
Digital Marketing & SEO
Lead digital marketing strategy including:
* Google AdWords & keyword campaigns
* SEO improvements to drive organic traffic
* Forum engagement and trade community participation
* Create and optimise landing pages with product, brand, and SEO-friendly company content
* Tailor content for social media platforms and drive engagement
Content Creation
Oversee creation of:
* Trade catalogues
* Supplier info videos
* Social media content
* Targeted EDMs
* Local POS (Point-of-Sale) assets
* Ensure content aligns with brand voice and campaign goals
Supplier Engagement
* Attend supplier meetings to pitch campaign ideas and secure marketing funding
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate co-branded opportunities
Event Management
Coordinate and promote internal and external marketing events including:
* National trade shows – stand design, setup oversight, supplier negotiations
* Supplier-led events – customer engagement days / nights across states
* DC-based events – training nights, trade mornings, in-house activations
* Manage advertising, social media, and supplier support for events
* Reconcile contributions post-event
Skills & Experience Required
* 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally in trade, B2B, or wholesale environments
* Strong project management and multitasking skills
* Proven experience across digital marketing, campaign coordination, and content creation
* Solid knowledge of AdWords, SEO, social platforms, EDM tools, and web CMS platforms
* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to analyse results, report insights, and adapt strategies accordingly
