We are seeking to appoint a Finance and Human Resources Officer to join our collegial and supportive administration team. This is a new position and will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, human resources administration compliance, contract management, HR File updates and upholding the integrity of the School's financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with School financial and human resources policies and procedures.
* Ensure discretion and confidentiality in all financial and human resources matters.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions.
* Liaise with external suppliers and respond to account inquiries.
* Process all supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
* Maintain staff human resource compliance registers and contracts.
* Manage HR Files and Timesheet recordings.
* Assist with end of month financial processes and reconciliations.
About You:
* A minimum of three years' experience in an equivalent role; ideally within a school or university-based setting would be preferred.
* Great customer service skills.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently.
* Keen attention to detail with the capacity to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality when managing such tasks.
* Friendly, warm, kind and caring demeanour.
* Strong work ethic.
* Exceptional multitasking abilities.
* Outstanding communication skills – both oral and written.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (intermediate to advanced level), and Adobe with Synergetic experience highly desirable.
Additional Information
There will also be times where whole school functions and major school events may require attendance outside of these set working hours by consultation.
