We are currently seeking a full time Medical Information Associate to join our Medical Affairs team in St Leonards. This newly created position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare outcomes in a collaborative and flexible work environment.
Reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, you will be an integral part of a small, high-performing team responsible for providing accurate, evidence-based medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals, consumers, and internal stakeholders across a broad portfolio of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) products and therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide accurate and balanced responses to medical enquiries from internal and external customers (typically consumers and healthcare professionals).
* Where appropriate, create and maintain standard responses and FAQs for marketed products and therapeutic areas.
* Support cross-functional teams (Marketing, Business Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance) with relevant medical information.
* Manage systems and processes for Medical Information (MI).
* Act as primary local liaison with Global MI team.
About You:
* Degree qualified in medicine, pharmacy, nursing or other life sciences.
* At least 1- 2 years’ experience in medical information (within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry) or a relevant medical or scientific role.
* Proven ability to understand, analyse and communicate complex scientific, clinical, pharmacology and medical issues.
* Proficiency in literature search and technical writing.
* Knowledge of information retrieval and dissemination processes.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and proven organisational and time management skills.
