What you'll do
* Utilise your UKG (Kronos) system experience to manage fortnightly pay runs and monthly commission calculations efficiently and effectively.
* Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of more than 3,000 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality at all times.
* Engage with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on payroll matters, fostering positive relationships built on trust and collaboration.
* Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and implementing best practices throughout the payroll function.
* Support group integration activities by harmonising payroll processes across newly acquired or merged entities within the organisation.
* Lead the implementation of new awards and enterprise agreements, ensuring all legislative requirements are met and communicated clearly to relevant parties.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax regulations and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.
* Provide mentorship and support to payroll team members, nurturing their professional growth in a considerate and inclusive manner.
* Prepare detailed reports for senior management, offering insights into payroll trends, risks, and opportunities for further enhancement.
