About the role
The Lead Implementation Analyst plays a critical role in enabling Cbus to realise value from its data by leading the delivery of complex, enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives that will strengthen decision-making, compliance and long-term value creation. Sitting within the Data & Analytics team, this role will coordinate the planning, requirements gathering and delivery of strategic projects, overseeing testing and embedding change to ensure solutions are adopted and deliver measurable value to Cbus members.
This role is essential to improving how Cbus uses data to support members, investments and regulatory obligations. By leading transformational initiatives such as a unified data platform, automation and governance of regulatory reporting and the selection of strategic data partners, the Lead Implementation Analyst ensures data solutions are well-governed, scalable and aligned to high-priority business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of major data and analytics transformation initiatives, including planning and execution.
* Lead stakeholder engagement to define, document and translate business needs into effective data solutions
* Manage project delivery, including roadmaps, risks, dependencies and change management activities including communications and training.
* Embed strong data governance and regulatory controls across all deliverables, particularly for regulatory reporting
* Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure quality standards are met.
* Manage stakeholder engagement to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of new processes and systems.
* Handle RFP processes for onboarding new data and analytics service providers.
* Promote and implement operating model changes to achieve strategic business outcomes.
What will you bring?
* Experience in a similar Senior Implementation or Business Analyst position ideally in superannuation or financial services
* Senior experience delivering data and analytics initiatives including business analysis, UAT, change and governance
* Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
* Strong capability in data management, regulatory reporting and vendor selection with a focus on quality and compliance
* Proven ability to translate strategic objectives and business requirements into well-governed, practical, innovative data solutions in agile environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
