About the Role As the Facility Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. You will be responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and financial performance of the residence, ensuring high-quality care delivery and strong compliance outcomes while leading a diverse multidisciplinary team.
You will be instrumental in the overall success and wellbeing of the residence, its people, and its residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Leadership & Management: Lead and support leadership teams across Clinical, Environmental, Catering, Lifestyle, and Administration, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development
* Resident Care & Experience: Work closely with clinical leaders to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets physical, emotional, and social needs
* Financial Management: Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance to ensure cost-effective service delivery
* Quality & Continuous Improvement: Drive quality, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to aged care legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements
* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain open, transparent communication with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
About You
* Proven management experience in Residential Aged Care
* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong financial acumen with demonstrated accountability
* Comprehensive understanding of the aged care regulatory and compliance environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident problem-solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
