This is a serious and very important position so please read the requirements carefully and respond accordingly if you have the necessary experience and qualifications.
We are seeking a person with strong mechanical knowledge electrical wiring knowledge and who has a refrigeration license to maintain or many refrigeration equipment and assist with daily tasks including assisting in production setting up production lines ensuring a smooth trouble free production.
Being a food safety certified business we operate a strict food safety program which is maintained on a daily basis by recording in writing all production and any maintenance that is carried out on the equipment.
Your hours may vary depending on the breakdown and time needed to complete the task.
This is a salaried position therefore there is no overtime unless specifically pre arranged.
If you drive a fork lift it would be great but not necessary.
The Company manufactures and sells confectionery products throughout Australia and export markets.
Applicant Qualifications If you have worked either in the food industry or similar such as other manufacturing and production type environment where products are made on production lines and be familiar with packing machines such as Flow Wrappers, Carton packers, Conveyors, Overhead Weighers Additional knowledge in Refrigeration and Welding would be definite advantage.
