An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Forklift / EWP Service Technician position covering our North Sydney region. This role entails providing top-notch servicing and repairs to Forklifts, Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts and a range of Kubota Agriculture and Construction Equipment, both in the workshop and in-field. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Role description
Join the Kentan Machinery Group as a Service Technician, tasked with delivering servicing and repairs to Forklifts, Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts and a range of Kubota Agricultural and Construction Equipment. This role encompasses effective diagnostic procedures, pre-delivery inspections, servicing, major repairs, and light fabrication/welding duties. Additionally, the incumbent will support the Service Coordinator and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Conducting test operations and utilizing efficient diagnostic procedures.
* Performing pre-delivery inspections and timely servicing and major repairs.
* Executing light fabrication/welding duties on various components.
* Upholding high service standards aligned with industry policies.
* Providing assistance to the Service Coordinator and ensuring a secure working environment.
Background / experience / qualities
* Possession of Automotive or Plant mechanical repair trade certificate.
* A minimum of two years of mechanical or similar work experience.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
* Basic computer literacy and possession of a valid NSW driver's license.
