Habitania is one of Australia’s fastest growing independent homewares retailers, with 15 stores across NSW and VIC and more on the way. We are known for our curated collections, beautiful store environments, and exceptional customer service that inspires customers every day.
We are preparing to open our brand new Fountain Gate store and are looking for enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants to join us for the launch.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new store opening from day one. You will help bring the Habitania experience to life by delivering outstanding service, maintaining beautiful displays, and supporting a smooth and successful store launch.
We are looking for team members who are energetic, reliable, and thrive in a fast paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
Provide warm, attentive customer service and assist customers with styling and gift ideas
Work as part of a team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets
Process transactions accurately using our POS system
Assist with stock intake, unpacking deliveries, and replenishment
Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards
Support the team during the busy opening period
About You
Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
Confident communicator with a positive attitude
Able to work in a fast paced environment and stay organised
Flexible availability, including weekends and late night trading
Physically capable of lifting and moving stock when required
Passionate about homewares and creating a great in store experience

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.19 per year
Experience:
* Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (Preferred)
* Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (Preferred)
* Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
