Where you'll be working
Step into a vibrant, friendly multidisciplinary community health team in the beautiful Hunter Valley. In this mixed generalist role, you'll work alongside experienced and supportive speech pathologists, delivering diverse and meaningful services across a range of settings. About the Role
Based primarily in Singleton, this role offers a rewarding mix of assessment and intervention for swallowing and communication disorders across the lifespan. You'll work with both adults and children across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, giving you the chance to grow and refine your skills in a truly varied caseload. You'll also contribute to mentoring and supporting other team members and be actively involved in quality improvement projects that enhance how we deliver our service. You'll be supported with regular clinical supervision, a strong professional network, and access to professional development opportunities relevant to your role and career goals.
About You
You're a motivated, adaptable speech pathologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients. You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and carers. You are confident managing a busy, varied generalist caseload and bring strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. You're keen to keep learning, share your knowledge with others, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
Eligible to drive in NSW.

Be rewarded with up to $10,000 in the first 12 months PLUS up to $10,000 each year thereafter in fortnightly payments under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. How To Apply
Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team to manage complex situations.
Demonstrated experience of managing both an adult and paediatric speech pathology caseload.
Demonstrated understanding of the issues related to clinical practice in rural communities.
