In the role of **General Manager** for **Nike** brand at **Retail Prodigy Group** you will be able to do all of this and more

**Retail Prodigy Group** holds the master Retail Franchise for NIKE Stores across Australia and New Zealand. Since 2011, RPG has driven the rapid expansion of over 40 Nike Branded Stores including Flagships in George St, Sydney and Melbourne Central Shopping Centre.

This awesome opportunity will see you inspiring a highly engaged team, building and executing against strategy and ensuring all customers have an amazing experience each and every time they visit one of our stores. In Nike, you will be working with the world's leading Sports and Fitness Brand, an innovator in athletic footwear, apparel and equipment without peer.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take accountability for the commercial performance of the RPG Nike retail stores across Australia and New Zealand and work closely in partnership with the Nike Pacific Team to bring to life an exceptional brand experience. You will be responsible for leading directly the Sales, Store Operations and Merchandise teams, as well as partnering effectively with the Finance and People & Culture teams.

**About the Role**

As the Nike General Manager, you will leverage your love of Retail and Merchandise to drive industry best Service and Experience. You will be able to recognise amazing performance and areas of opportunity. With these observations you will identify causation, take learnings and drive improvement.

More specifically you will be responsible for the following:

- Creating Ultimate Customer & Employee Experiences that achieve and exceed Fan Mail targets and Customer and Team NPS measures
- Obsessing succession, development and retention of Top Talent across the Nike brand
- Conducting weekly trade calls, seasonal brand meetings and quarterly team planning sessions, to enable alignment and execution
- Budget preparation and driving forecast accuracy
- Developing and executing plans to maximise peak trade periods and new product launches
- Managing Merchandise SOH to appropriate weeks cover, ensuring key items by store are held at appropriate weeks cover and in stock
- Partnering with RPG leadership to drive the development and achievement of our business plan and 3 year strategy

**To be successful in this role you have**:

- A strong passion for our retail Nike stores, leading from the front and delivering _Ultimate Customer Experiences_
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and profit, and a drive for operational excellence with the ability to formulate and execute strategic plans
- Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to drive quick decision making to produce action to changing conditions
- Ability to delegate when required, whilst still being accountable for following up and delivering timely results
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to multi-task/prioritise daily work
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - with a strong people first mindset and service focused orientation
