One of Mackay's leading club venues is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to take accountability for a busy, high-volume food operation and drive the next phase of its culinary direction. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic service environment, enjoys mentoring a team, and is passionate about producing consistent, high-quality food across bistro, cafe, functions and events. The role suits someone who is ready to refresh their career, contribute strategically, and bring new ideas to a venue that genuinely backs its kitchen team.

What We're Looking For
• Minimum 5 years in a senior kitchen leadership role (Executive Sous, Head Chef or Executive Chef) within a busy, quality-focused venue
• Strong operational capability and the ability to deliver consistency across multiple outlets
• Passion for menu development and the creativity to deliver dishes that resonate with a broad customer base
• A disciplined approach to cost control, rostering, ordering and compliance
• A leadership style that is calm, clear, inclusive and focused on developing people
• High personal standards around presentation, cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation
• Commitment to achieving targets and contributing to broader business goals
• Someone who is humble, driven, collaborative and enjoys being part of a positive team culture

Harrup Park and Great Barrier Reef Arena combine's one the region's leading hospitality and events destinations, offering multiple dining outlets, modern function facilities, extensive bar and café operations, and large-scale entertainment and sporting events. The kitchen plays a central role in the venue's reputation, and the incoming Executive Chef will have the support and resources needed to lead confidently and make an impact.
