Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Lawyer with 2+ years PAE to join a well-established Dispute Resolution team in Canberra. You'll work alongside experienced senior lawyers on a wide range of government-focused litigation and dispute matters, including:
* Class actions and complex civil claims
* Regulatory and commercial litigation
* Merits and judicial review
* Investigations, royal commissions, and parliamentary enquiries
* Strategic legal advice for government clients
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years post-admission experience
- Proven experience in government litigation or disputes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and professional integrity
- Eligibility to obtain or currently hold a baseline security clearance
You'll be proactive, self-motivated, and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong time management and multitasking skills are essential.
