Job Title: Support Worker
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Support Worker to provide assistance to participants enabling them to live independently in the community.
Shifts are tailored to meet individual needs and requirements.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
* Enabling mobility including moving and handling transfers hoists wheelchairs
* Assistance with menu and meals
* Domestic assistance
* Administration of medication
* Supporting routine activities including passive exercise routines
* Reporting and recording according to procedures
* Confident driving larger vans equipped with hoists
* Knowledge commitment to Workplace Health and Safety procedures
Essential Requirements:
* Full COVID-19 vaccination including booster
* NDIS Worker Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Comprehensive Car Insurance
* Driver's Licence
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with personal care or willingness to learn
* Experience with manual handling including hoists lifters etc
* Experience with complex care or willingness to learn
