Employment DetailsType: Permanent Full Time (Job share may be considered)Classification: Counsellor Level 1/2, Occupational Therapist Level 1/2, Psychologist Level 1/2, Registered Nurse/Midwife, Social Worker Level 1/2, Welfare Officer Level 1/2Remuneration: $72,152.53 - $104,753.00 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)Location: Orange NSW – Find out moreHours per week: 38Applications close: 11 May 2025 – 11:59 pmAbout the RoleThe Drug and Alcohol Intake Clinician, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, is responsible for providing a centralized first point of contact, including telephone and face-to-face, information and referral services for Drug and Alcohol Services within Western NSW Local Health District.
This role involves assisting clients seeking help with substance use problems.
The teams within WNSWLHD include Social Workers, Psychologists, Health Clinicians, Nurses, Addiction Medicine Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Consultants, and Clinical Leads.
You will work closely with the entire multidisciplinary team, as well as clinicians from Mental Health Drug and Alcohol services, NGOs, other health agencies, and local GPs.
