The company
Our client is a leading provider of integrated fluid power, automation, and mechatronic solutions across multiple industries. They operate nationally with 15 branches, offering tailored solutions for mining, manufacturing, agriculture and industrial clients.
The position
Act as the commercial link between customers and the engineering team, developing and selling automated control solutions. Manage project-based opportunities, provide technical consultation, and work closely with key stakeholders.
Please note this is a national opportunity with regular travel commitments, requiring flexibility and a strong willingness to be on the move.
Duties include:
* Develop technical solutions for complex automation requirements
* Serve as the link between customers with internal engineering teams
* Review and interpret electrical schematics and control systems
* Filter and qualify technical opportunities
* Manage and close project-based sales opportunities
Skills & experience required:
* Strong understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred)
* Experience with hydraulic control systems and automation/mechatronic principles
* Understanding of automation and mechatronic principles
* Proven track record in solutions-based technical sales (system integration experience highly regarded)
