The role:
The Good Crowd are proud to be exclusively partnering with long-established & proud Australian construction firm with deep roots in education, commercial, retail, industrial sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator who is looking to take a step forward in their career by joining a company that actively look to promote and grow within their cohort.
You will gain exposure to multiple projects valued between $20M–$30M, working closely alongside an experienced Senior Project Manager and Senior Contract Administrator, providing an excellent learning environment and career pathway.
This role is based in Geelong and offers a clear opportunity for advancement to Project Management within 2-3 years' based on performance.
Key responsibilities:
* Administer project contracts throughout the contract lifecycle including head contracts and subcontracts ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
* Prepare, review and negotiate contractual documents, variations, progress claims, extensions of time and other contract correspondence.
* Maintain accurate contract records, registers, documentation, correspondence and communication logs.
* Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, clients and consultants to resolve contract-related issues and support project delivery.
* Monitor contract performance, risks and compliance, and contribute to risk mitigation and contractual decision-making.
* Support tendering processes, subcontractor procurement and contract letting activities.
* Assist with financial aspects of the contract including cost reporting, claims administration and ensuring scope deliverables are met.
Who are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering (desirable)
* At least 3 years of relevant construction experience in Australia
* Microsoft Project experience is desirable (not essential)
* Sound understanding of commercial construction methods and processes
* Exceptional communication ability (verbal and written)
* Strong attention to detail
* Highly motivated and ambitious about their career
* Excellent ability to work with and engagement with different stakeholders
* Clean and valid driver's license
