About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville is thrilled to offer an exciting prospect for a Dietitian to join our Allied Health team.
This casual position is predominantly to cover regular weekdays and leave cover (Mon-Fri) across our Pimlico and Hyde Park campuses.
Our Allied Health team's typical working day is from 8AM to 4PM.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, which will rotate through a range of clinical areas, whilst contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice models of dietetic care.
Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of nutrition care to adults across a range of clinical areas, including both inpatients and outpatients.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in professional mentoring.
About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics service in a hospital setting and the ability to manage caseloads across a broad range of clinical areas
Commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice and professional development
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Minimum of one-year full-time equivalent clinical experience - recommended
