About the position
The Senior Consultant, Strategy Realisation Office is responsible for leading workstreams and minor projects for senior executive stakeholders across the university. They are trusted to elicit and interpret client requests, working independently or in a small team to produce high quality work products.
This position supports the delivery of the Strategic Business Planning program aiming to build our enterprise strategic planning capability and supporting senior executives with strategy development. This includes target setting, strategic and business planning, evaluation, data analysis and visualisation, and facilitation of strategy days and offsites for senior executives.
This project is expected to be completed within twelve months. During this time the position will also support other projects and capability-building initiatives within the Strategy Realisation Office.
Responsibilities
* Lead workstreams and minor projects for senior executive stakeholders.
* Interpret client requests and produce high quality work products independently or in a small team.
* Support delivery of the Strategic Business Planning program, including target setting, strategic and business planning, evaluation, data analysis and visualisation.
* Facilitate strategy days and offsites for senior executives.
Skills and Experience
* Undergraduate degree with a quantitative component, postgraduate qualifications with a quantitative component, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
* At least two years of professional experience working in a client- or customer-facing role in a management consulting firm or company; or an equivalent alternate combination of industry experience and/or study.
* A high degree of emotional intelligence capable of working productively alongside colleagues with varying levels of maturity and/or technical fluency.
* Experience working in the public sector and/or higher education sector.
