We are seeking a great communicator and customer‑focused IT Support Desk Technician with a passion for IT to join our supportive and dedicated IT Services team.
In this entry‑level role, you will act as the first point of contact for all IT issues and support requests. You'll diagnose, resolve, or escalate technical problems in a timely and effective manner, ensuring every student and staff member receives exceptional service. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the initial contact for IT support via phone, email, and the IT helpdesk.
* Provide friendly and effective first‑level IT support to staff and students.
* Log, triage, and manage tickets within the IT support system.
* Assist users in resolving basic technical issues and improving digital literacy.
* Support user access administration within the School's security framework.
* Monitor and maintain the School's printer network, including daily checks and basic troubleshooting.
* Assist with installation and configuration of hardware, software, workstations, and peripherals.
* Contribute to general IT maintenance, backups, and team projects as required.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Confident in identifying and resolving basic computer and network issues.
* Positive can‑do attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
* Organised, reliable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* No formal qualifications or prior IT industry experience required—just enthusiasm, capability, and a willingness to develop your skills.
