Reporting to the Service Desk Lead, the primary responsibility of the Service Desk Officer is to provide level 1 IT support to the organisation.
Level 1 IT support for Windows 10, Office365, Exchange online, One drive applications as well as infrastructure functions.
This position plays a key role in troubleshooting IT issues for internal stakeholders, assisting and training end users in the use of applications, and escalating complex issues to senior members of the team.
Who we are looking for
* Technical knowledge in Microsoft O365, Exchange Online, CRM Dynamics 2016/365 and Azure services.
* Ability in managing support for IT applications in a complex ICT environment.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills including the ability to use conceptual and analytical skills to analyse issues, liaise with stakeholders, draw conclusions and evaluate effectiveness.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
