What You'll Be Doing
Based between the Community and Hospital to provide medical, clinical and consultancy service in palliative care to inpatient and community‐based clients and their families within the Northern NSW Local Health District.
Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Palliative Care services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes, delivering a healthy community through quality care.
Participate in quality improvement activities as well as providing training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

Where You'll Be Working
Tweed Valley Hospital is a major referral and teaching hospital located in the heart of the Tweed‐Byron region, providing a wide range of inpatient, day‐only and outpatient services in a brand new, state‐of‐the‐art facility. Murwillumbah District Hospital is a community hospital providing a range of services.
Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah Community Health provide a range of services including a Cancer and Palliative Care service with sites at Murwillumbah, Pottsville, Kingsliff and Byron Bay.

Eligibility & Requirements
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Palliative Medicine Physician, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways.
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Palliative Care Medicine in the Hospital and Community showing ability to communicate effectively with the Palliative Care patients and families.
* Demonstrated commitment to uphold the philosophies and objectives of the Palliative Care services and to providing high quality health services and continuity of care within the local community.
