The role
We're looking for a reliable, licensed electrician to join our expanding team. You'll work across a broad range of jobs — from everyday electrical maintenance through to air conditioning installations and solar system work. No two days are the same, and there's genuine opportunity to build your skills across emerging areas of the trade.
Your day-to-day will include
- Carrying out routine electrical maintenance for residential and commercial clients
- Fault finding, testing, and repair of existing electrical installations
- Installation of split-system and ducted air conditioning units
- Reading and working from plans, schematics, and job briefs
- Communicating clearly with clients on-site and representing the Local Group brand professionally
- Completing job records, safety checks, and compliance documentation
What we're looking for
- A Grade electrical licence
- Solid maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Air conditioning installation experience - not essential
- Interest or experience in solar PV - not essential
- Current driver's licence
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Great communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
