Admin assistant for NDIS services provider - Work from home (WFH)

Are you looking for a WFH role where you can use your customer service and computer skills and get some assistance in learning new skills? The right candidate will understand and have compassion for those with disability and want to do the right thing where possible. You'll be working alongside colleagues and clients of all walks of life.

NEGOTIABLE SCHEDULE: (earlier starts available)

· 2-5pm daily (3+ hours: 4-5 business days with growth from 12-30hrs negotiable)

· Willing to drive to training sessions for the first 3 weeks as a probationary period (North Gold Coast or Logan location).

Pay award: Clerks Private sector Award

Pay rate: Between Clerk Year 1 level 1 (Casual: $32.18/hr) – Year 2 level 2 (Casual: $35.80) as casual depending on skills and experience. *SUPER is on top of this amount*



MINIMUM: Some of the minimum requirements are:

* Understanding and compassion for people with disability

* Demonstrated history of putting the team above oneself

· Willing to work at least 4 days per week with total of 12-30hrs

· Demonstrated work experience on windows computer min 2 years in role

· Minimum Typing speed 45wpm

· Demonstrated ability to utilise Microsoft office applications

· Understanding of file types and their use cases (i.e. pdf, xlsx, docx, jpg, mpg)

· Demonstrated customer service skills in previous roles

· Ability to learn desktop application for handling clients, phone calls, taking leads making notes

· Reliable home NBN connection (plus hotspot for backup preferred)

· Quiet space to take calls during your desired work hours

BONUS: Favoured admins may have additional skills such as:

· Use of digital calendar systems

· Skills in rostering staff members and dealing with unforeseen changes

· Skills in bookkeeping

· Skills in invoicing

· Demonstrated history of complaints management

· Management of staff

· Industry knowledge/understanding

* Previous cleaning experience or gardening experience (services we provide)

* Understanding of NDIS industry

* Understanding of NDIS billing

After being accepted and trained, equipment will be provided to work from home.
