About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Air-conditioning & Electrical Tas Pty Ltd in Devonport, Tasmania. This is a full-time opportunity for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice looking to kick-start their career in the electrical trade.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
2. Completing tasks such as wiring, testing, and troubleshooting under the guidance of qualified electricians
3. Learning about electrical theory, safety practices, and industry regulations
4. Participating in on-the-job training and attending technical college to obtain your electrical qualification
What we're looking for
1. Enrolled or currently completing an Electrical Apprenticeship
2. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
4. Enthusiasm to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade
5. Good communication and teamwork abilities
