Job Description

Your opportunity to join us at North Ryde!

Join our inclusive, collaborative team at North Ryde where knowledge-sharing and diversity are celebrated. As National Business Manager, you'll manage our most significant portfolio – the Woolworths Fresh category, including both branded and private label products. This highly coveted role sits at the heart of the Inghams business, driving profitable growth and delivering on critical sales and profit targets.

This role will be based in our North Ryde head office with regular travel to Woolworths HQ and Inghams' supply chain network Australia-wide.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

* Serve as the primary point of contact and lead across the Woolworths ecosystem for Fresh categories
* Build and nurture key relationships across cross-functional teams including operations, farming, category, marketing, and NPD
* Develop strategic goals and objectives through annual joint business planning (JBP) processes
* Lead range review processes, collaborating internally and externally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes

Commercial Performance:

* Deliver budgeted volume, revenue, and gross margin targets
* Analyse data to identify product gaps, profitability opportunities, and new business potential
* Drive \"balancing the bird\" strategies across the product portfolio and emerging opportunities
* Manage senior customer negotiations with confidence and commercial acumen
* Own and deliver the demand plan through collaborative alignment with customers and internal stakeholders
* Manage and develop 2 direct reports
* Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment

Key requirements:

* Proven track record as a National Business Manager or Regional Sales Manager
* Demonstrable expertise in account management fundamentals and practices
* Experience working with Woolworths across multiple levels and teams
* Background in senior customer negotiations
* Operational experience and/or strong manufacturing knowledge (poultry knowledge desirable but not essential)
* Passion for people management and team development
* Can-do attitude that thrives in fast-paced, high-performing environments
* A fun, curious, caring and courageous nature, committed to excellence
* Desire to contribute your best work every single day
* Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
