About The Role
The organisation is seeking a highly experienced APS6 Senior HR Policy Advisor role to lead the development and implementation of strategic HR and workplace relations (WR) policies.
This role requires a proactive and solutions-focused professional with exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic and policy-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic and contemporary HR and WR policies.
Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and reviews of complex HR policy issues and legislation.
Provide high-level policy advice and recommendations under tight deadlines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions and delegates.
Lead and support consultation and negotiation processes, balancing diverse interests.
Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, and correspondence for senior management.
Deliver secretariat support to high-level consultative committees.
Key Skills & Experience
Demonstrated expertise in HR policy, workplace relations, and employment legislation.
Proven experience developing and implementing HR frameworks and policies.
Strong analytical and research capabilities with attention to detail.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage stakeholder engagement and complex consultations effectively.
Experience with enterprise bargaining processes within the APS or similar environments.
Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to deliver outcomes under pressure.
