Business Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and profitability.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams.
* Create and execute effective sales strategies, set targets, and track performance metrics.
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
* Lead contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
* Analyze market trends and financial data to inform business decisions.
* Oversight of budgeting, financial planning, and cost management for commercial operations.
* Collaboration with internal teams to align commercial objectives with overall business goals.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.
* Manage project forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control processes.
* Lead and mentor a team to ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
* At least 10 years of experience in the civil construction industry.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop staff.
* Background in Quantity Surveying and cost control.
* Expertise in contract administration and commercial negotiations.
* Proven track record in financial project management including subcontractor management, claims, variations, and progress reporting.
* JDE systems experience is highly desirable.
