About the Role: We're seeking an experienced professional to join our Intensive Bail Initiative team in Mount Isa. As a Family Support Specialist, you'll work closely with families of young people involved in the youth justice system to provide intensive case management and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide holistic case management services to vulnerable and disadvantaged families
* Work collaboratively with external stakeholders to increase the safety and wellbeing of children
* Contribute to our ultimate goals of assisting young people to meet the conditions of their bail and reducing youth reoffending
What You'll Need:
* Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly the youth justice system
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families
* Strong report writing, analytical and evaluation skills, including data collation and analysis
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in a similar service
