Crisis Supporter & Trainer
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Crisis Supporter & Trainer.
* The ideal candidate will have strong training skills, a deep desire to help others, and a collaborative approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Crisis Support: Provide crisis support via 13 11 14 in alignment with operational guidelines.
2. Mentor and Train: Collaborate with the Services Coordinator to deliver student mentoring, call coaching, and Crisis Supporter Workplace Training.
3. Suicide Prevention and Awareness Training: Support and co-facilitate a range of mental health, suicide intervention, and domestic violence awareness training programs.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40116).
* Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in a support role, preferably in crisis support, mental health distress, or suicide prevention.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
