Major Responsibilities:
Bechtel is seeking interns for tour Infrastructure business unit, based in Brisbane.
Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience.
Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.
Our Infrastructure Internship program is open to all undergraduates in civil, geotechnical and electrical engineering disciplines.
During this time, you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience – all while having a real impact on our organization.
You will be able to work full time for ten weeks over the Summer holiday break commencing on 24th November 2025.
Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload and ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- At time of application, hold Australian / New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Applicants must have completed at least one year of under-graduate studies in a relevant degree to the role advertised.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- A proactive attitude.
- Well-developed communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
